I also like using the albedo or white clearcoats on the scleras (eye whites), but the scleras aren’t a separate material on tda Miku so I can’t demonstrate that here. Though on tda models, the eye material is attacked to the eyelash and eyebrow so the eyelash and eyebrows are shiny too. I’m going to be using the albedo clearcoat on the eyes. It’s like a shader that adds a texture to a material, but keeps the original UV texture… does that make sense? Texture as in like, bumps and stuff, not texture as in patterns… this is confusing. Their names should be self explanatory, but for those who don’t know albedo materials keep the default colors and texture, it just applies a filter to it. It’s great for making materials shiny, works great for rubber, plastic, and even eyes! I like using it on my model’s eyes to add some shine~ ClearCoat is next! It’s one of my favorites to use, since I really love glossy objects.
